It can be used for smudging in the same way that Sage is used, however it burns much slower than dried herbs like Sage. It is also much easier to extinguish, making this hanger perfect for travelling with. Hang it from your rear view mirror, window, computer screen, neck, altar etc. and light it whenever necessary to cleanse and purify your space.
